The Fraternal Order of Police is the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 2,100 lodges and over 323,000 members. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today's police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.

Our Mission
By far what the most powerful means for dealing with planning uncertainties is through what has become generally recognized as vision. An institutional vision, by clarifying an organization’s essential sense of identity and purpose, can resolve many uncertainties by making them irrelevant or inconsequential to the institutions defined purposes.
The FOP rooted in traditions and proven capabilities, yet reflective of emerging requirements in a new post era 9/11 – serves several purposes. It states in fundamental terms, who we are, what we will be, and most importantly, provide a unifying statement for our strategic challenges, opportunities and priorities.
As the premier fraternal law enforcement organization (FOP) in the United States, the Lanier Lodge in Cumming, GA will enhance its strategic ability to reach and support local law enforcement as well as the communities its serves. These capabilities will provide fellowship to all of law enforcement as well as certain financial assistance when the mission requires assisting individuals in the community, law enforcement personnel and their families. We will strive to capitalize on innovation and experimentation; Sustain our enduring relationship with law enforcement and the community; Optimize the Lodge’s operating capital, support and sustain these along with or other unique capabilities; Reinforce our strategic relationships and partnerships with sister agencies; Contribute to the community and law enforcement.
As we have since 1992, FOP Lanier Lodge 82, will stand ready to promote effective stability to law enforcement and support to our community.
